This original French antique lavaliere necklace features a delicately pierced diamond bow suspending a long knife edge drop and a luminous pear shaped old diamond framed by rose cuts. The proportions are elegant and architectural - light on the neck and dramatic in movement.

The center stone is a substantial 0.85 carat antique pear diamond, surrounded by 32 old and rose cut diamonds, totaling at 1.70 carats creating that unmistakable soft, candlelit sparkle only antique cuts produce.

Crafted in the classic Edwardian combination of gold with platinum-topped settings and an 18K white gold chain, this piece balances strength and fineness beautifully. The knife-edge bar, millegrain details, and airy openwork are all textbook period construction.
